Editing to the beat.. Process

At the beginning of this task my confidence in terms of using final cut express was very low but with a little play around with it, its beginning it get a lot clearer and straightforward. Although the task was editing to the beat but however watching the 5secs into the video, the image did not quite match the beat and i suppose that would be a lesson to take on when making my final Music video. During this task i also learnt how to split the screens up into sections and i believe this is a powerful type of edit that i might apply into my music video. Furthermore, during this task, i learnt to cut bit of the clips away which i never knew before. Finally i also learnt how to make a character in the video automatically zoom in (the tiger).

AFTER Finishing the video i just taught that i should try something different and give the video a good finish so i added some text. This was difficult to work around so first because the writing was either too big or at times, it just couldn't fit a page. The solution to this was to basically place each word or 2 on each line and then as a result the final cut express program will be able to spot how you want the writings to fit the screen.

Basically in order for the sound to work properly we had to make a couple of changes which included; changing the sound format to AAC, and the channels to MONO. Following this , i had to name the file something i would be able to remember.
